Extra Credit Hamlet Quiz - Worth 10 points
This extra credit quiz will be
given at 6:45 pm SHARP and you will have 30 minutes (until 7:15 pm) to complete
it. The quiz will focus will consist of 5 multiple-choice questions about
the play, and fill-in responses based on
Hamlet’s soliloquy in 3.1 (“To be or not to be”). As it is an extra-credit
quiz designed to provide you with additional points toward your final grade, NO
MAKE-UPS will be allowed. Please be on time to try to earn extra points. By
now, you should have completed your reading of Hamlet. We will watch the last 20 minutes of the film AFTER the
quiz is completed and close our discussion of this play.
Reading Macbeth:
Please read Acts I and II of the
play. We will be discussing these two acts as soon as the quiz has ended. Questions
for discussion: How does Shakespeare set the mood of the play? How do you view
Macbeth at the beginning of the play, and how does he change as the action
continues? What are your thoughts on Lady Macbeth, thus far (by the end of Act
II)? We will be viewing Acts I and II on Wednesday, 11/12.
